Running Liberty

How the job
works here.

Residential renovations, commercial builds, and municipal events all pull from the same yards. What changes in Liberty is how quickly the truck reaches you, how we place it on local ground, and who signs what before it drops.

Step 01 · Delivery

How fast we can be there

Our Mebane yard runs Liberty daily — about 45 minutes from our lot to any driveway in town. Same cutoff for renovation drops and construction schedules.

  • Order by 4 PM, we’re at your address the next day
  • Two yards on standby (Mebane + Smithfield) if one is slammed
  • Busy building season doesn’t push the schedule
  • Weekend delivery available on request

Step 02 · Placement

Making it fit your driveway

Old Liberty driveways run narrow; newer subdivisions have room to spare. We size the equipment to your address before we drop.

  • Narrow older-neighborhood driveways: we size to 16 or 20 yards
  • Newer NC-49 subdivisions: any size we offer will fit
  • Tree canopy or low wires: we confirm clearance first
  • Commercial sites with a loading dock: we deliver right to it

Step 03 · Paperwork

We handle the permits

Randolph County disposal paperwork rides on our credentials, not yours. If the town or your HOA needs anything, we tell you before you sign.

  • Randolph County disposal permits: on us
  • In your driveway: no town permit at all
  • Street or event drops: we tell you what’s needed
  • HOA time limits on NC-49: checked before signing

Areas within Liberty

Neighborhoods
on the route.

The truck routes are the same across Liberty, but placement is a block-by-block conversation. Each neighborhood below carries the note that changes how we deliver into it.

Downtown Liberty / Fayetteville StreetBrick-storefront historic downtown
The compact historic downtown blocks along Fayetteville Street and the surrounding streets — brick-storefront commercial, small-shop retail, and the small-town civic center. Street drops here route through the Town of Liberty — a small planning counter with direct access and quick turnarounds.
Historic residential around downtownEarly-20th-century homes
The older residential blocks surrounding the downtown core — early-twentieth-century homes on narrow-to-standard lots with mature trees overhead. 16- and 20-yard dumpsters do most of the work.
Greensboro-Randolph MegasiteToyota Battery Manufacturing — multi-billion-dollar EV battery plant
The Greensboro-Randolph Megasite north of Liberty is the Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina footprint — an active mega-project construction site with ongoing land-clearing, infrastructure, and plant build-out phases. Walking-floor trailers, 40-yard compactors at loading-dock access, and driven-post perimeter fencing on long runs are standard here. On-site project management coordinates placement rather than municipal review.
US-421 approachesMixed commercial + newer residential
The US-421 strip running through Liberty — mixed small-shop retail, roadside commercial, and newer-build storefront volume. US-421 is a state highway, so street-side placements add a state DOT permit.
Pike Farm + Antiques Festival farmstead areaRural east toward the Antiques Festival site
The rural area east of town around Pike Road and the Liberty Antiques Festival site. Working farmland, large-lot rural homes, and the Antiques Festival staging area for spring and fall weekends. During festival weekends, the area needs portable restrooms, handwashing stations, event-perimeter fencing, and vendor-cleanup dumpsters at scale.
Rural agricultural edgeWorking farmland on the Randolph perimeter
The agricultural edge of Liberty running south toward Ramseur and east toward the Chatham County line. Working farmland, large-lot rural homes, and farm-building renovation volume. Portable septic shows up here on lots that run on wells and septic rather than municipal utilities.
NC-49 approaches toward BurlingtonRural + commuter residential
The approaches running north on NC-49 toward Burlington and Alamance County. Rural residential with scattered newer builds filling in on the way toward the broader Burlington metro. HOA activity on some developments; we pull HOA covenants before scheduling.

Plus every subdivision, farm parcel, and residential street off US-421 and NC-49 that isn’t named here.

Questions from Liberty

The ones we get
every week here.

Can you handle Toyota Battery Manufacturing mega-project construction?

Yes — the Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina build at the Greensboro-Randolph Megasite is the deepest commercial pull on our Randolph County book. Walking-floor trailers for ongoing land-clearing and infrastructure phases, 30- and 40-yard compactors at loading-dock access, portable restrooms and dedicated handwashing stations for construction crews, and driven-post lines with locking gates along the longer perimeter stretches are all standard here. Toyota's project management coordinates placement and scheduling directly rather than through municipal review. The megasite straddles the Randolph / Guilford County line in places; we verify the parcel before dispatch.

Do you serve the Liberty Antiques Festival at Pike Farm?

Yes — the Liberty Antiques Festival each spring and fall is the biggest single-weekend event route on our Randolph County book. Thousands of vendors and shoppers over the two-day weekends drive portable restrooms, dedicated handwashing stations near every food line (Randolph County rules apply), event-perimeter fencing across the vendor and parking areas, and vendor-cleanup dumpsters at scale. We coordinate drop-off with the festival organizers at Pike Farm on the pre-event schedule.

Can you handle downtown Liberty tenant renovation or Fayetteville Street events?

Yes. Downtown Liberty is small — a few blocks of brick-storefront commercial along Fayetteville Street — but tenant renovation and small-shop turnover run through our regular residential-scale dumpster book. The Town of Liberty permit office is a one-counter operation with direct access, so municipal routing is quick. Street-visible drops on Fayetteville Street add the town permit; private driveway placements don't.

Will a 30-yard dumpster fit a historic Liberty driveway?

Usually not for the oldest blocks right off Fayetteville Street. Those driveways are narrow with mature trees overhead. 16- and 20-yard dumpsters do most of the historic residential work. Newer residential on the NC-49 approaches toward Burlington and the rural agricultural edges fit any size we rent.

My project is near US-421, NC-49, or NC-62 — do I need a state DOT permit?

If the container lands on state-highway land, yes. US-421, NC-49, and NC-62 are all state DOT roads through or near Liberty. The state DOT handles those permits rather than the Town of Liberty — we note which permit applies on your estimate and submit it. Driveway placements and town-maintained streets don't need the state permit.

How quickly can you have a dumpster in Liberty?

Our Mebane yard sits about forty-five minutes west of Liberty via I-85 and NC-49. For an order placed by the end of the business day, the truck leaves Mebane the next morning. For Toyota Battery Manufacturing mega-project work or Antiques Festival event setup, we build the applicable schedule window into dispatch directly.

Do you serve rural farm properties around Liberty?

Yes. The rural east side toward Pike Farm and the agricultural edges south and east are regular rural routes. 20- and 30-yard dumpsters for farm-building teardown and renovation, walking-floor trailers for larger land-clearing phases, and portable septic for lots that run on wells and septic rather than municipal utilities. Rural driveways in this area are usually wide enough for any size we rent.

Do you cover the towns near Liberty?

Yes. Ramseur (south), Staley, Franklinville, Climax (north toward Greensboro), Siler City (east, in Chatham County), Asheboro (west, Randolph County seat), and most of eastern Randolph County all ship from the Mebane yard on next-day scheduling. The Smithfield yard rarely runs this far west.

Two books, one team

Residential and commercial
run different ways.

Same yards, same routes, same next-day cutoff. What changes is the paperwork, the placement, and the pace. Homeowners want a driveway drop and a scheduled pull; contractors want an on-call swap-out cycle. Here’s how each side is set up in Liberty.

For homeowners

The residential book

Historic Fayetteville Street-area home renovations, rural property reset on the agricultural edges, NC-49 approach residential cleanouts. The commercial book

Toyota Battery Manufacturing mega-project services at the Greensboro-Randolph Megasite, downtown Fayetteville Street tenant work, Liberty Antiques Festival event support, US-421 and NC-49 roadside commercial. The Toyota build is where we send more trucks than anywhere else on our Randolph County book, by a wide margin.

  • Liberty Antiques Festival event dumpster, restroom, fencing, and handwashing service (spring and fall weekends)
