How the town is built
Liberty's property mix is the smallest-town / largest-megasite combination on our book — a scale mismatch nothing else we serve shares. Downtown Liberty itself is tight: a few blocks of historic brick-storefront commercial along Fayetteville Street with early-twentieth-century residential on the adjacent streets. The Greensboro-Randolph Megasite north of town carries industrial-scale footprint at a different order of magnitude — Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina's build-out across a multi-thousand-acre site. The rural edge east toward Pike Farm and the Antiques Festival site carries working farmland. South toward Ramseur and east toward Chatham County carries more farmland and large-lot rural residential. The NC-49 approaches north toward Burlington carry commuter residential filling in gradually. There's almost no middle scale here — small historic downtown, mega-industrial site, or rural farmland.
