Choose A Unit

5 Units,
One Right Fit.

The tier is about the room, not the price. A wedding wants a trailer; a public event wants ADA; a crew wants a standard unit. If you are unsure, call — a two-minute conversation saves the wrong tier showing up.

Standard Unit — WasteAway Site Services

Standard Unit

Events + Job Sites

Our everyday unit. What a crew wants: a clean interior, a ventilated stack that keeps the odor down between services, and a floor a boot doesn't slip on. Delivered fully stocked, serviced weekly, and pulled the day the job wraps.

Best for
Residential remodels, ongoing construction sites, contractor crews, small outdoor gatherings, neighborhood block parties
Notes
Weekly service; hand sanitizer inside; ventilated stack; non-slip floor

Event Unit — WasteAway Site Services

Event Unit

Events

Roomier than the standard unit — extra interior space so guests aren't brushing walls, interior lighting for evening use, and a service cadence that flexes to the event's timeline. What you'd want at a backyard wedding or a community fundraiser.

Best for
Backyard weddings and receptions, community fundraisers, corporate picnics, small festivals, block parties, casual outdoor gatherings
Notes
Larger interior; interior lighting; event-appropriate finish; flexible service cadence
Request This Unit
Wheelchair Accessible — WasteAway Site Services

Wheelchair Accessible

Events + Job Sites

An oversized unit with room for a wheelchair to enter, turn, and exit without a ramp on level ground. Wider footprint, wider door, low-threshold entry. Rents at the same weekly service window as the standard unit.

Best for
Job sites with an ADA-adjacent access need, family events, community gatherings where a wheelchair-friendly stall is expected but full federal ADA isn't required
Notes
Interior turning radius; low-threshold entry; wider door; same weekly service
Request This Unit
ADA Compliant — WasteAway Site Services

ADA Compliant

Events

The federally-spec'd option for public events. Ground-level entry with no lip, interior grab bars and handrails, a turning radius that meets full ADA requirements. Ordered by permit offices and event coordinators when a project needs the paperwork behind the fixture.

Best for
Public outdoor events, permit-required gatherings, municipal projects, festivals and fairs, any site with a documented ADA obligation
Notes
Interior grab bars; ground-level entry, no lip; meets federal ADA spec

Restroom Trailer — WasteAway Site Services

Restroom Trailer

Events

A trailer, not a stall. Flushing porcelain fixtures, running water at the sinks, interior lighting and mirrors, heating and A/C. What you rent when the guest list is a wedding, an executive site visit, or a VIP event that a portable unit wouldn't serve.

Best for
Weddings and receptions, corporate events, executive site visits, VIP or upscale gatherings, four-season events where a heated or cooled interior matters
Notes
Porcelain fixtures with running water; interior lighting and vanities; heat + A/C

Who we deliver to

A crew and a wedding
are the same call.

21 years in, restrooms split about evenly between construction and events. The service window is the same — the tier, the placement, and the paperwork are what change.

Job sites

For the crew

One unit per ten workers, weekly service, and a stack a full crew can rely on all week. Delivered where you want it and pulled the day the job wraps.

  • New construction and remodel job sites
  • Commercial demolition and site prep
  • Long-run infrastructure and utility projects
  • Landscape, roofing, and outdoor trades
  • Extended commercial sites needing multiple units
  • Sites requiring wheelchair-friendly access

Most crews take the standard unit. Add a handwashing station if your trade requires it, and we can bundle them on the same delivery.

Events

For the guest list

Restrooms sized to the headcount, placed where guests will actually find them, and configured for the paperwork the permit office asks for.

  • Weddings, receptions, and private celebrations
  • Corporate events and executive site visits
  • Public festivals, fairs, and community gatherings
  • Municipal projects and permit-required events
  • Backyard parties and neighborhood block gatherings
  • Four-season events needing heat or A/C

Weddings and executive events almost always want the trailer — porcelain, running water, mirrors, climate control. Public events want ADA-compliant on the record.

How it works

Four steps,
no surprises.

  1. 01

    Tell us the job

Call or send the form. Crew size or headcount and how long you need it decide the tier and the count.

  2. 02

    We deliver

Order by 4 PM and it arrives the next day, dispatched from Mebane or Smithfield depending on where you are.

  3. 03

    We service

Weekly on our standard schedule — pump-out, restock, wipe-down, ventilation check. High-traffic sites can move to twice-a-week or daily.

  4. 04

    We pick up

One call and the truck comes back. Extending? We handle it before the window closes rather than at pickup.

What tier for what occasion

Match the tier
to the occasion.

The wrong tier at an event embarrasses the host; the wrong tier on a job site slows the crew. This is the short version — call for anything not on the list.

How many you need

Skip the math.
Get a count.

Tell us the shape of the day — guest count or crew size, how long — and the calculator returns a count that leaves headroom rather than a lower bound you'll regret at hour six.

    Questions

    The ones we get
    every week.

How often are portable restrooms serviced?

Weekly on our standard schedule — pump out the tank, refresh the paper and hand sanitizer, wipe the interior, and check the ventilation. High-traffic sites and multi-day events can move to twice-a-week or daily service; tell us the crew size or the expected attendance and we will match the cadence to it.

How fast can you deliver a portable restroom?

Order by 4 PM and we deliver next day across our Central North Carolina service area. We dispatch from Mebane and Smithfield, which is what keeps next-day realistic across both the Triangle and the Triad.

How many units do I need for my event?

A common rule of thumb is one standard unit per 50 guests for a 4-hour event, more if alcohol is served or the event runs longer. For a job site, one unit per 10 workers on a 40-hour week is typical. Call and tell us the headcount, the hours, and whether alcohol is on the menu — the answer is usually within a unit of that math, and we would rather size it right the first time than send a truck back for a second unit.

What's the difference between wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant?

Wheelchair accessible is an oversized unit that fits a chair inside with room to turn — good for family events or job sites where the access need is real but the paperwork isn't. ADA compliant is the federally-spec'd version: ground-level entry with no lip, interior grab bars and handrails, a full turning radius. Public events and permitted projects usually require the ADA-compliant version specifically, and municipal offices will ask for it by name.

When should I book an Event Unit instead of a Standard Unit?

For any occasion where the unit's appearance matters — a backyard wedding, a company picnic, a community fundraiser. The Event Unit shares the standard unit's footprint but is held to a cleaner exterior finish and outfitted with interior lighting for evening use. Not a trailer's flushing porcelain, but a step up from a construction unit dropped in the yard.

When should I book a restroom trailer instead of a standard unit?

For weddings, corporate events, executive site visits, and any occasion where the guest experience matters as much as the fixture. The trailer has flushing porcelain, running water, mirrors, interior lighting, and climate control — the difference between a portable stall and something guests won't hesitate to use.

Where should the restroom be placed?

Level ground, accessible for the service truck, and within reasonable walking distance for the crew or guests. Sun and wind matter more than people think — an all-day unit in direct sun heats up, and an unweighted unit on an exposed corner can move. Tell us where you want it and the driver will place it there if the approach works; otherwise they will suggest the closest spot that does.

Do you rent handwashing stations too?

Yes — portable handwashing stations with clean water and waste tanks built in, delivered as an add-on to any restroom rental. Health-department events and food-service jobs usually require them; other sites benefit from having one anyway.

    Need units this week?

Order by 4 PM and we will have them to you tomorrow. Tell us the crew size or the guest count and we will tell you the tier and how many.
